Doctor Plotka's Mouthwatchers Toothbrush is Having a Moment

Have you heard the buzz? Doctor Plotka’s Mouthwatchers toothbrushes are having a moment.

About a year ago, BuzzFeed caught wind of Doctor Plotka’s Mouthwatchers toothbrush from TikTok. It appeared in multiple product review lists with one BuzzFeed author saying she found the brush more satisfying than an electric toothbrush.

I tend to agree. I’ve never been happier with how clean my teeth are after brushing with a Doctor Plotka’s toothbrush, but don’t take my word for it. Drew Barrymore also has something to say about it. In an Us Weekly Magazine article, she listed Doctor Plotka’s toothbrush among one of her “beauty workhorses.”

Well before all the Us Weekly Magazine and BuzzFeed buzz, Frances Dodds of New York Magazine’s The Strategist had already lucked upon the wonders of Doctor Plotka’s toothbrushes. She was looking for a dental solution for “sweater teeth.” You know, the fuzzy feeling you get on your teeth after eating certain foods. The answer, of course, was Doctor Plotka’s Mouthwatchers. She wrote,“I think a big reason it helps my teeth stay sweater-less for longer is because those bristles whisk away the early formations of plaque in deep crevices that a regular toothbrush can’t reach, and from surfaces that floss wouldn’t reach either (unless you’re doing a heavy-duty, reach-every-angle floss job).”

We are happy these toothbrushes are having a moment, but we aren’t surprised. We’ve known for a while that these are special toothbrushes. Their multi-layered flossing bristles are soft and effective at breaking up plaque and sweeping away food. The silver technology keeps the brush naturally free of bacteria build up.

If you want to check the toothbrush out for yourself, we can help with that.
